Collages.

My collage works begin with a library of hand-coloured scraps and recycled prints. I adhere cut paper in layers, drying the work in progress under a heavy glass plate. This allows me to look at the image and continue to cut and test shapes while waiting. I think it’s magic to come back in the morning and lift the glass, revealing the congealed image. Most works take days or weeks to complete.
